'nobody’s watching' wraps up New York shoot

LA Panda Productions has finished the New York shooting of its sixth film, nobody's watching. Julia Solomonoff’s film now travels to Buenos Aires, where the filming will continue for another week.

nobody’s watching is a feature film that examines the experience of immigrants and the unexpected lessons that they can find in failure. They will soon realize that the real success lies in finding themselves along the way.

The film starring Guillermo Pfening (Wakolda / El medico alemán) began shooting on location in September, and then moved to New York where it has benefited from the State tax incentives. From LA Panda, Elisa Lleras has dealt with the production and management of tax benefits in the United States, and Jana Diaz-Juhl and Pau Brunet have managed international sales, press and communications.

nobody’s watching is produced by CEPA Audiovisual (Felicitas Raffo and Andrés Longares), Travesía Producciones (Argentina), MadLove (Colombia), Taiga Films (Brazil), LA Panda (USA) and Aleph Media (USA). It’s co-produced by Miss Wasabi (Spain), Perdomo Productions Inc. (Dominican Republic) and Bogdam Apetri. The film already has the support of the state funds INCAA (Argentina), the Ibermedia Program and Proimágenes Colombia.

CEPA Audiovisual is a producing company created in 2005 that’s been involved in films like Feriado by Diego Araujo and Magellan by Salvador del Solar. Currently they’re also developing the pre-production of Sombie by Santiago Fillol, Pendular by Julia Murat and Juan Villegas’ Villa Gesell. Travesía Producciones has produced El ultimo verano de la boyita and co-produced the film Las Acacias by Pablo Giorgelli.

During 2015 LA Panda Productions has produced three films: JC Falcon’s People You May Know, Roberto Perez Toledo’s Como la espuma and the recent Nobody’s watching. Como la espuma was entirely filmed in Spain and People You May Know was shot in Los Angeles. The three films are scheduled for release in 2016.
