María Aceves, an accomplished multi-lingual producer and native of Bilbao, Spain, brings a finance background, versatility and skill to the Creative Producing process.
Prior to La Panda, Maria was active as an independent producer and consultant where she worked with top name professionals and brands in creating high profile commercials, multi-platform campaigns and live events worldwide. In addition, Maria is a Co-Founder of Blue Hats Creative, a Content Creation company based in Santa Monica, CA.
Her latest full-length documentaries with BHC are the story of L7, the seminal grunge punk band: L7: Pretend We’re Dead, as well as, a full-length concert film for Guns 'n' Roses Not in this Lifetime Tour, captured live at Dodger Stadium and in collaboration with Magical Elves and Live Nation Presents.
Maria's strong interest in education has led her to help young filmmakers of tomorrow through a select group of charity organizations. She serves as the Vice Chair Emeritus of Breaking into Hollywood, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that helps aspiring artists in turning their passions into careers in the entertainment industry.
A classically trained musician, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Management and a Masters in International Finance from Universidad del País Vasco.
