Lucía Gutiérrez is a sergeant of the Civil Guard stationed in Morón de la Frontera, Seville, who investigates the unusual suicide of a neighbor and some strange events that occurred during the first Holy Week procession. Magaly Castillo is a special agent of the United States Army sent to the Morón de la Frontera base to find out the whereabouts of a missing American soldier who seems to be involved with the covert dealings of Colonel Seamus Hoopen (Ben Temple), the top official at the air base. The solitary military police sergeant, Andrew Taylor, assists Magaly in her inquiries. They soon discover that both investigations are connected, that the case is more complex than they had initially assumed, and that it involves both the locals of Morón and American military personnel from the nearby base.
